Urgent Support Needed for Displaced Families

The fighting that broke out with Thailand had a devastating impact on Cambodia - with tragic loss of civilian lives, families displaced from their homes and livelihoods along the border and children ripped from their classrooms.

As displaced families began to arrive in the communities where we work in Preah Vihear, with your support we leapt into action to meet their needs - delivering emergency supply bundles of food, clean water, temporary shelter and hygiene items.

Over a period of a week, we rolled out back-to-back drops, delivering emergency bundles where they were needed most:

The peace talks in Malaysia concluded on 7th August with positive hopes that a return to normalcy is just around the corner, and indeed many families are already leaving the camps and returning to their homes along the border.

We truly hope that Cambodia can now close this chapter of upheaval and fear, and that these families can pick up their disrupted lives, and move forwards in peace once again.
