It's time to celebrate the 65th rotation, and I've got a great way for you to celebrate it with me.
While it's been a long time since I've had to worry about this, a good number of women and girls around the world do need to worry about it, and they have enough problems already. Period poverty is a global health issue affecting women and girls in both rich and poor countries. Here in Cambodia, the monthly gift keeps them away from work and school and basically stops them from living their lives.
This big problem has an easy fix!
There are two ways for us to get these reusable and eco-friendly menstrual kits into the hands that need them.
They can be purchased locally, or we can get free ones in the United States but then have to pay to ship them to Cambodia. Either way, they cost about $9 each.
So for my birthday, I want to get these in the hands of about 200 people. It's easy - let's get it done. xx
